Debut album
Moriah Plaza
The self-titled first album: seven songs of tropicália, psych, lounge, and jazz, reimagined from Berlin.
Tropicália after dark via Batov Records
A slow-blooming lounge mirage: tropicália color, cinematic Latin jazz, psych-pop glow, and songs built for a Berlin dancefloor.
Lobby music from another sun
Moriah Plaza sound like a 1970s hotel bar with the windows open: syncopated pulse, organ shimmer, flute lines, soft-focus vocals, and a rhythm section that keeps the floor warm.
The set can sit beautifully in a focused listening set, then turn the lights lower for clubs, festivals, radio sessions, record stores, and late-night cultural gatherings.

The story
Co-founders Tamir Chen and Moosh Lahav grew up in Tel Aviv with tropicália records, film soundtracks, elevator muzak, and the sound of the Sheraton Moriah hotel pianist drifting through the lobby.
In Berlin, they formed Moriah Plaza with Gretchen Schadebrodt and Alice Moss, building a band where nostalgia, discovery, groove, and melody meet in bright, cinematic color.

FollowFor festivals, clubs, radio sessions, listening bars, and strange beautiful nights that need a warm late-night pulse. The core four-piece can expand to a five-piece with percussion.
Come upstairs
If the night needs Latin sway, psych-pop color, cinematic melody, and a band that can pull people closer, send a note. We like stages with a point of view.
